Devyn Michaels is accused of killing and beheading her boyfriend 46-year-old Johnathan Willette. Police wrote that his 'head was severed and was not located at the crime scene'. There was also a chemical smell, and fumes could be seen coming from his body. Officers found Williette's keys, wallet and social security card in Michaels' home. Michaels later admitted to hitting Willette's head with a wooden stick, which caused him to go limp. A detective asked Michaels if it was possible that she killed Willette and didn't remember, and she answered that it was 'very possible'. Michaels originally reached a deal with prosecutors to plead guilty to a charge of second-degree murder but withdrew her plea.
