Covenant School Shooting Documents

A year after the mass shooting at The Covenant School in in Nashville, a judge will hear the parties in a lawsuit on whether to release the shooter's documents to the public. The case involves what documents from The Covenant School shooting by Audrey Hale who killed three 9-year-olds and three adults, will go public or remain under seal. Hale was a 28-year-old former student at The Covenant School whom officers killed amid the attack. After the shooting, five different groups have asked the court to release all the documents Metro Police obtained from the shooter. The Tennessee Firearms Association, National Police Association, the Tennessee Star, The Tennessean newspaper, and Sen. Todd Gardenhire argue for a full release of the documents.
