Bellarmine Mugabe and a co-accused face charges in the alleged attempted murder of a 23-year-old gardener at the Mugabe family home in Hyde Park located in the South African city of Johannesburg. It is alleged that the gardener was shot during a dispute at the property. Police officers found bullet cartridges after searching the home in the aftermath of the shooting but no firearm was retrieved.
