Barry Cadden and Glenn Chin

Barry Cadden and Glenn Chin are accused of selling tainted steroids and face second degree murder charges. A 2012 meningitis outbreak was responsible for killing at least 76 people and sickening nearly 800 in 23 states a number of which were in Michigan. Both men are currently serving time in a Pennsylvania federal prison. Cadden is serving nine years after being convicted of racketeering and fraud in Massachusetts. Chin was sentenced to eight years in the same Massachusetts court. Barry Cadden was co-founder of New England Compounding Center and Glenn Chin was a pharmacist. Cadden and Chin are charged in connection with 11 deaths in Livingston County after investigators connected the compounding pharmacy to Michigan clinics that were supplied with the tainted steroids.
