Alexis Von Yates, 34, of Ocala, Fla., was arrested in November 2024 on a charge of sexual battery on a person 12 to 18 years of age by a person in familial custody. However, Yates entered a no contest plea to a lesser charge of lewd and lascivious battery. In July 2024 her stepson was visiting her and his father when Yates was caught engaging in sexual activities with the 15-year-old boy when the boy's father walked in on them. It is alleged that Yates, a former nurse whose license has since been suspended, had sex with the boy without a condom while he was visiting his father for summer vacation.
