Jacques \u201cPorkchop\u201d Rouschop\u2019s is on trial for rape and choking.\u00a0Both complainants in the rape-and-choking trial have related horrifying accounts of being attacked and choked until they blacked out in the back seat of Rouschop\u2019s pickup truck in an industrial lot. They told the jury they thought they were going to die.<\/p>\n
Rouschop told court that he\u2019d only been with one of his accusers twice, but had a close, years-long relationship with the other complainant, saying he had grown close to her and helped her out. He said she was his \u201cregular girl\u201d who would always call him as a \u201clast resort\u201d if nobody else picked her up. She sold sex on the streets of Vanier to feed her severe crack and fentanyl addictions, court heard.<\/p>\n
When Rouschop took the stand for the second day yesterday he insisted he is innocent, claiming his penis is way too small to have committed vicious sex crimes against two Vanier prostitutes.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s my only defence,\u201d Rouschop told the jury.<\/p>\n
The accused choker-rapist said he\u2019s been humiliated by international headlines for mounting his small-penis defence but that it\u2019s the only way he can prove his innocence in the she-said, he-said case absent of DNA evidence, rape kits, or independent witnesses.<\/p>\n
The jury was shown photographs of his one-inch penis, which measures two inches erect, according to the nurse who volunteered to take the delicate measurements.<\/p>\n
Under cross-examination, assistant Crown attorney Meaghan Cunningham noted that the smaller his penis is, the stronger his defence case is. Cunningham again and again questioned the size of his penis, claiming that he \u201ccontrolled the experiment\u201d – referring to the times a nurse visited him at the Innes Road jail with a tape measure and camera. Cunningham questioned whether Rouschop\u2019s penis was fully erect when it was measured.<\/p>\n
Rouschop revealed that he had asked the Crown in September, and before trial, to have a doctor of their choice \u201cfully examine\u201d him but the Crown didn\u2019t take him up on the offer. He\u00a0testified that a botched surgery at age seven left him with a small penis.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have the penis of a seven-year-old,\u201d he testified. \u201cI\u2019m not making this up. I can whip it out and show you.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ontario Superior Court Justice Robert Smith told the accused: \u201cI\u2019m not agreeing to allow you to whip it out.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Crown then raised his sex assault convictions from back in 1991 and in 2005, and portrayed the accused as career criminal who has made his living \u201clying, stealing and committing crimes.\u201d Cunningham also established that Rouschop has had a hard time controlling his temper.<\/p>\n
On the sex convictions, Rouschop told the jury: \u201cI was innocent and I still am.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rouschop acknowledged he\u2019s a longtime commercial thief, but he said he had a rule against breaking into someone\u2019s home in case something he stole was a family heirloom. \u201cIt would be irreplaceable,\u201d he told court.<\/p>\n
