{"id":8924,"date":"2017-08-16T11:16:48","date_gmt":"2017-08-16T15:16:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldjusticenews.com\/news\/?p=8924"},"modified":"2017-08-16T11:16:48","modified_gmt":"2017-08-16T15:16:48","slug":"manchester-attack-hero-denies-bank-card-mobile-phone-theft","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldjusticenews.com\/news\/2017\/08\/16\/manchester-attack-hero-denies-bank-card-mobile-phone-theft\/","title":{"rendered":"Manchester attack: &#8216;Hero&#8217; denies bank card and mobile phone theft"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"story-body__introduction\">A man who was hailed a hero after the Manchester Arena attack has denied stealing a bank card and mobile phone at the venue on the night of the blast.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Parker, 33, of no fixed address, was charged with two counts of theft on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>He was remanded into custody following the hearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates&#8217; Court.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Parker was reported to have comforted a seriously injured girl and a woman who died in his arms.<\/p>\n<p>He was charged with stealing a purse and contents from Pauline Healey and a mobile phone from a 14-year-old girl.<\/p>\n<p>He will next appear at Manchester Crown Court on 13 September.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-two people died in the attack at the end of an Ariana Grande concert on the evening of 22 May.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\">A man who was hailed a hero after the Manchester Arena attack has denied stealing a bank card and mobile phone at the venue on the night of the blast.
