At that trial\u00a0Jogee was sentenced under the legislation which treated the accomplice as the same as the person who committed the deadly act, then 25-year-old Mohammed Hirsi. \u00a0However, the Supreme Court ordered that Jogee be retried \u00a0after ruling the law on joint enterprise had been \u00a0interpreted incorrectly for 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>Following a two-week retrial at Nottingham Crown Court, jurors deliberated for more than 13 hours before clearing Jogee of murder.
