This \u00a0allowed him to avoid a trial before the Judicial Ethics Commission.<\/p>\n<p>Stevens violated judicial Ethics by openly criticizing prosecutors and others. He was upset the commonwealth\u2019s attorney challenged his right to dismiss a jury based on racial makeup.<\/p>\n<p>The challenge to Stevens\u2019 jury dismissal is still before Kentucky\u2019s Supreme Court.<\/p>\n<p>Oral arguments were in June, but there\u2019s no timeline for when the justices will issue an opinion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\">LOUISVILLE, Ky. \u2014 Following a 90 day suspension, Jefferson Circuit Court Judge Olu Stevens is back on the bench.
