Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has won the right to ask the Supreme Court to block his extradition to the US.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The High Court ruled on Monday he could have raised a legal point that Supreme Court justices may want to consider.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The ruling means Mr Assange can petition the UK’s highest court for a hearing, stalling any extradition from the UK for now.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He is wanted in the US over the publication of thousands of classified documents in 2010 and 2011.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In December, the US won an appeal against a previous UK court ruling that he could not be extradited due to concerns over his mental health.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
