He is accused of unlawfully and maliciously making or having in his possession an explosive substance with intent to endanger life or cause serious injury to property.<\/p>\n<p>North Greenwich station was evacuated last Thursday during the alert causing major disruption.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Smith, from south east London, was remanded in custody until 17 November.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\">19-year-old Damon Smith has today appeared in court charged with making an explosive substance after a suspect device was found on a London Underground train.
