Suge Knight, the former executive of Death Row Records, is suing Dr Dre for $300 million and accusing him of hiring a hitman to kill him.<\/p>\n
Mr Knight claims that Dre hired the hitman shortly after he sold Beats to Apple Music in 2014, in an effort to evade a lifetime management agreement that entitles Mr Knight to 30 per cent of his earnings.<\/p>\n
The lawsuit claims that the contracted \u00a0killer is the same man who shot\u00a0 Mr \u00a0Knight seven times outside a pre-MTV VMA party at 1 Oak nightclub in West Hollywood.<\/p>\n
Another suspected assassin was run over and killed by Mr Knight that happened to be on the set of the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton<\/em>.<\/p>\n Issuing a statement ,<\/em>Dr Dre\u2019s attorney Howard King claims that Mr Knight and Dre have had zero contact between each other since 1996<\/p>\n In the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Knight claims he was defending himself as another man, filmmaker Cle \u201cBone\u201d Sloan, allegedly pulled a gun on him.<\/p>\n Several months earlier Knight was shot seven times at a Hollywood party thrown\u00a0by R&B star Chris Brown.<\/p>\n \u201cAndre Young is responsible for both crimes,\u201d the lawsuit said, referring to Dr. Dre by his given name.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIt is a well-known fact that Young and Knight are not friends,\u201d said the lawsuit, which seeks financial damages.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n A lawyer\u00a0for Dr. Dre has reportedly dismissed the allegations as\u00a0far-fetched.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Cle Sloan, who was injured in the car park incident, has denied threatening Knight.<\/p>\n Knight\u00a0has separately sued Chris Brown for a lack of security at his party.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
