{"id":17093,"date":"2020-05-16T10:33:30","date_gmt":"2020-05-16T14:33:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldjusticenews.com\/news\/?p=17093"},"modified":"2020-05-16T10:33:30","modified_gmt":"2020-05-16T14:33:30","slug":"woman-in-court-over-forest-of-dean-suitcase-remains","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldjusticenews.com\/news\/2020\/05\/16\/woman-in-court-over-forest-of-dean-suitcase-remains\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman in court over Forest of Dean suitcase remains"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"story-body__introduction\">A woman has appeared in court charged with murder following the discovery of human remains in two suitcases.<\/p>\n<p>Gareeca Conita Gordon, 27, appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates&#8217; Court by videolink, accused of killing a woman between 14 April and 12 May at her home in Birmingham.<\/p>\n<p>Police are awaiting DNA test results to establish the identity of the victim.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Gordon, of Birchfield, Birmingham, was remanded in custody to appear at Gloucester Crown Court on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Mahesh Sorathiya, 38, of Denmore Gardens, Wolverhampton, also appeared before magistrates charged with assisting an offender &#8211; namely Gordon &#8211; on a date between 25 April and 12 May.<\/p>\n<p>He was remanded in custody to appear at Gloucester Crown Court on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The remains were found close to a quarry near Coleford in the Forest of Dean on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p>Gloucestershire Police said a post-mortem examination was found to be inconclusive and further examinations were under way.<\/p>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-england-gloucestershire-52689652\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bbc.co.uk<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\">A woman has appeared in court charged with murder following the discovery of human remains in two suitcases.
