style=\"text-align: center;\">Gable Tostee\u00a0has been cleared of both the murder and manslaughter of Warriena Wright, who fell\u00a0to her death from Mr Tostee&#8217;s 14th-floor apartment balcony in\u00a0the early hours of 8 August 2014.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The verdict by a jury at\u00a0Supreme Court in Brisbane came after four days of deliberations, news reports both families were in tears as the ruling\u00a0by the\u00a0jury of six men and six women\u00a0was read out in the court, local media said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The court\u00a0rejected the prosecution&#8217;s case that Mr Tostee, 30, had scared the woman\u00a0so much that she felt the only way to escape was to climb down from his balcony.<\/p>\n<div Tostee&#8217;s defence team had argued that he had only tried to stop an erratic and violent Ms Wright from attacking him by locking her outside.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Ms Wright, 26,\u00a0was\u00a0a New Zealand tourist on holiday\u00a0in Australia.
