A Cleveland man had two pieces of tape placed over his mouth during his sentencing on\u00a0Tuesday,\u00a0after the judged warned him to stop talking.<\/span><\/p>\n

Franklyn Williams\u00a0<\/strong>was convicted of three armed robberies during his trial, but he reportedly had a lot to say about the matter as\u00a0Judge\u00a0John Russo<\/strong>\u00a0tried to speak.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to\u00a0the\u00a0Daily Mail<\/a>, Williams spoke over the judge and ignored multiple warnings to remain quiet.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cMr Williams, I\u2019m the judge in the matter. Shut your mouth, and I\u2019ll tell you when you can talk,\u2019 he told the defendant. \u201cIf we have to, I will gag you in one second.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The judge noted that the court stenographer would not be able to keep up with the hearing if Williams continued to interrupt and argue over him and his attorneys.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to tape it, and I\u2019ll unzip it when I want you to talk,\u201d he said. But Williams refused quiet down, so the judge ordered that\u00a0tape be placed over his mouth so the sentencing could proceed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Metro News,<\/a>\u00a0Williams continued to protest, saying: \u2018But you\u2019re not letting me tell you what\u2019s going on. \u2018You trying to take my life judge, and you\u2019re not letting me tell you what\u2019s going on. It\u2019s not fair.\u2019<\/p>\n
