The House of Representatives is expected to meet to consider an article of impeachment charging President Donald Trump with ‘incitement of insurrection’ after the January 6 riot at the Capitol that left five people dead.

The article of impeachment, which has the backing of at least 210 House Democrats, says Mr. Trump ‘gravely endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of government.’

If the House votes to impeach the president, Mr. Trump would become the only president in U.S. history to be impeached twice.
