Ryan Woodruff is charged with the January 2023 shooting death of 19-year-old Ty'Quez De'Metrius Walker. Prosecutors allege that Walker visited Woodruff's home - which was operating as an unlicensed tattoo parlor - when Woodruff allegedly became suspicious of the 'strange' demeanor of Walker so retrieved a 12-gauge shotgun, and shot him. The prosecution note that GPS ankle-monitor data placed Woodruff at the scene and that a pistol in Walker's waistband was never drawn. At the time of Walker's death in 2023, Woodruff was out on bond awaiting trial for which he was subsequently convicted of the methamphetamine-induced bludgeoning deaths of his uncle Roger Woodruff and aunt Debra Goins and sentenced to two consecutive life sentences.
