He spent approximately $7.5 million on 400 flats and 1,260 cars for his best employees.
Savji, a 54-year-old Surat-based billionaire has distributed bonuses as an annual Diwali ritual since 2011.
The rewards are in recognition of meeting company goals and motivating workers to continue their outstanding performance.
