FBI to Review More Clinton Emails

According to a letter FBI Director James Comey sent to the chairs of government committees Friday, the FBI has discovered new emails relevant to the investigation into former secretary of state Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

The FBI is not saying that it’s reopening the investigation.  That depends on the outcome of an assessment underway.  Reports are the emails in question are not from a WikiLeaks release.

A State Department spokesman said Friday that the Department is trying to figure out what these emails pertain to and whether they’re relevant to Clinton’s time as secretary of state.

At a rally, Donald Trump mentioned the news saying that “perhaps justice will be done.”  Trump supporters yelled: “Lock her up! Lock her up!”

Clinton has not commented on the latest FBI developments.
