A man, aged in his 20s, is fighting for life in hospital after being shot in the high street of a north London suberb last night.  Six women have been arrested in connection with the shooting.
Metropolitan Police taped off Hornsey High Street. Officers from the Trident and Area Crime Command are investigating, a police spokesman said.
He added: ‘Police were called to reports of a man injured in Hornsey High Street, near the junction with New River Avenue.
‘Six women have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody. ‘
