Maya Hernandez accused of getting a cosmetic procedure while her young son died in a hot car. Hernandez is facing second-degree murder charges for the death of her one-year-old son, Amillio Gutierrez, who died of heat stroke after being locked in a car for two-and-a-half hours with his brother. Hernandez also faces child endangerment charges for Amillio and her other son, who survived. Authorities allege Hernandez left the boy and her other 2-year-old son in the hot car while she had a lip filler procedure in Bakersfield, Calif., on June 29. Durina recreation, the car started at 81 degrees with the air conditioning on. The car remained in the low 80s between 2:10 and 3:10 p.m. Between 3:05 and 3:10 p.m., the car shut off and the temperature began to rise. By 3:15, the temperature was 92 degrees. By 4:33 p.m., the temperature was 116 degrees.
