Teresa Sievers was murdered in 2015. Teresa, 46, had the back of her head bashed in and was found face down on the kitchen floor on June 29, 2015. Her husband Mark Sievers, 51, and Jimmy Rodgers, 29 were both charged in the murder. Both had separate trials. Jimmy Rodgers was was convicted in October 2019 of second-degree murder in the 2015 bludgeoning death of Bonita Springs doctor Teresa Sievers. Mark Sievers was convicted of hiring Wayne Wright, who was also suspected of hiring Jimmy Rodgers to carry out the murders. Wright, 51, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in February 2016. Mark Sievers was sentenced to death.
