Kevin Lychwick is charged with killing his neighbor 56-year-old Carlos Maldonado, in 2024 and hiding the body. Lychwick is charged with first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse. The body of Maldanado was found on October 30, 2024, in a wooded area in Waukesha. But police say the victim was actually killed months earlier. Investigators believe Lychwick shot Maldonado in the head in April 2024 then wrapped the body in a plastic tarp and bound Maldonado's hands with duct tape. A passer by found the body in October near the apartment and called police.
