Deja Coleman is charged with second-degree murder and second-degree cruelty to children after investigators say her 1-year-old son, Daniel, died after being left in her car while she worked. Investigators say Coleman left her 1-year-old son, Daniel, inside her vehicle while she worked at Northside Hospital Gwinnett in July 2026. Coleman dropped off her two other children at daycare but forgot to take Daniel out of the vehicle before going to work. The boy was found inside the vehicle hours later.
